The Jetstory MBT-15 Desert Storm is a main battle tank optimized for combat in harsh desert environments — extreme daytime heat and cold nights, reduced visibility in sandstorms, and open terrain that exposes tanks to detection and engagement at long range. The Desert Storm features a triple-stage engine air filtration system removing 99.97% of sand and dust particles, allowing continuous operation through sandstorms without clogging. The upgraded cooling system with a 3x-capacity radiator and variable-speed electric cooling fans maintains stable operating temperature up to 65°C ambient. Exterior desert digital camouflage paint absorbs solar heat and reduces infrared emission. Special track guards prevent sand-induced slipping. The crew compartment 4-tonne air conditioning system maintains 22°C inside the cab even when outside temperature reaches 65°C.
