Jetstory SHORAD-16 Talon — Integrated Short Range Air Defence System

The Jetstory SHORAD-16 Talon is an integrated Short Range Air Defence system designed to protect armored formations, military bases, and critical infrastructure from the growing threat of modified commercial UAVs, kamikaze drones, low-altitude cruise missiles, and attack rotary-wing aircraft. The Talon integrates three complementary defensive systems on a single self-propelled vehicle: a 50 kW High Energy Laser (HEL) system to silently destroy small drones and incoming missiles without ammunition expenditure; an electromagnetic rail gun firing 40mm guided rounds at 2 km/s to neutralize larger UAVs and helicopters; and a Jetstory SAM-VL surface-to-air missile system with a 12 km range for high-speed aircraft and missiles. The integrated sensor suite includes a multi-function AESA radar, electro-optical/infrared sensors, and an AI threat classification system. Time from detection to kill: 2 seconds. Weight: 22 tonnes.
